Mexican Chocolate Fondue

This is a fun party recipe! The chocolate is so heavenly! Allow it to set up for a few minutes so it can thicken a bit.


3 C heavy whipping cream
8 oz Hershey’s special dark chocolate chips
2 T sugar
1 t vanilla extract
1 t cinnamon
1 t chili powder
pinch of salt
20-25 cinnamon donut holes

1. In medium saucepan over medium high heat, whisk together all ingredients (except donut holes). Whisk occasionally, about 8 minutes. If the mixture doesn’t look thick enough, add about 1/4 C more chocolate chips. This chocolate will set up with a little more time. Serve with skewered donut holes for dipping.

It worked great in my little crock pot!

* We had a hard time finding the cinnamon donut holes. So instead, we subbed those crumbly ones…yeah, those!
