This Christmas, I have been busy experimenting with all sorts of yummy treats. I don’t have the patience or time for cookies these days, so candy or some variant of it has been my fun in the kitchen this year.
I came across this recipe while perusing through some old Everyday Food Magazines and thought I’d try my hand at it. I did add a couple splashes of Kahlua and cinnamon to the recipe to jazz it up.
These were good, but they were super mushy. They didn’t hold their shape well even after I tried freezing them. I was a bit disappointed in them, but some people just loved them and raved about them.
So they were a fun treat that was super rich and chocolatey, but not really trufflie? yeah…that’s it. I think if I would have put a hard chocolate shell on them, they would have been heavenly!
